The Queen of Spain travelled to the World Heritage City of Caceres in western Spain to presided over the announcement of the winner of Princess of Girona Foundation's (FPdGi) Social Award.
The Social Award recognizes young social entrepreneurs whose projects encourage the integration of marginalized groups or or people who are at risk of exclusion

The Queen of Spain attended the World Rare Disease Day 2019 commemorative event held at Duques de Pastrana Complex in Madrid.
She delivered a speech in her role as honorary president of the Spanish Federation For Rare Diseases with a focus on this year's theme "Uniting social and health care". She highlighted the need for better coordinating medical, social and support services for people living with a rare disease and their families.
