The King and Queen of Spain were given a farewell with Honors as they departed from the Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas to Cuba.
They will undertake their tenth State Visit, which aims to emphasise historical ties and strengthen bilateral relations. This is a historic trip as it's the first time a Spanish monarch will visit Cuba officially.
The four-day visit is part of the celebrations of the V Centenary of the Foundation of the City of Havana, the anniversary is on the 16th of November 2019.

The King and Queen of Spain arrived at Havana's José Martí International Airport on Monday evening for a four-day State Visit to Cuba.
This State trip is part of the events commemorating the Fifth Centenary of the founding of the city of Havana and serves to reflect the bilateral relations between the Republic of Cuba and the Kingdom of Spain.

The King and Queen of Spain attended events in Seville to mark the XVI Congress of the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language (ASALE).
ASALE was created in 1951 in Mexico. It represents the union of all separate academies in the Spanish speaking world, working for the unity, integrity, and growth of the Spanish language.
Departing the Fundación Cajasol, Their Majesties greeted the citizens of Seville who had waited to see them.

The Spanish Royal Family attended the second day of events for the 10th anniversary of the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi) at the Palacio de Congresos de Cataluña in Barcelona.
They participated in the 'El talento atrae al talento' (talent attracts talent) workshops which offer a program of activities that focus on some of the main challenges of our society: sustainability, employment, critical thinking, and equal opportunities, among others.
The day ended with the Royal Family holding an audience with the mentors of 'Rescatadores de talento' (Talent Rescuers) which promotes the employability of people between the ages of 20-30 years.
Queen Letizia made a surprising designer debut for the final day in Barcelona. She donned a coordinating leopard print blouse and skirt by British fashion designer, Victoria Beckham.
The navy and white separates consist of a long sleeve twill shirt (RRP $825 - now $495) and a silk midi skirt (RRP $1,395 - now $697.50). The pieces are part of the Resort '19 collection.
Letizia added her red Carolina Herrera slingback suede pumps for a pop of colour.

The Spanish Royal family attended events celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi) at the Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I Hotel in Barcelona.
Today marked the debut of Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia at the annual awards.
Following King Felipe's accession to the throne in 2014, the title 'Prince of Girona Foundation' was renamed 'Princess of Girona Foundation' and passed to his eldest daughter Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Girona, heir to the Spanish throne.
The FPdGi recognises individuals between the ages of 16-35 who have shown outstanding achievement and drive in areas such as scientific research, artistic creativity, and entrepreneurship.
The 2-day program of activities kicked off with an informal meeting with the winners of previous editions.

The Spanish Royal family attended the 10th anniversary of the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards ceremony, held at the Palacio de Congresos de Cataluña in Barcelona.
The awards recognises individuals between the ages of 16-35 who have shown outstanding achievement and drive in areas such as scientific research, artistic creativity, and entrepreneurship.
Following her 14th birthday on the 31st October, Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Girona marked her debut at the awards, which bears her title. Giving her first speech at the ceremony, she addressed the audience in Spanish, Catalan and English!
After the ceremony, Their Majesties hosted a dinner for the winners and the Advisory Council of the Princess of Girona Foundation.
Queen Letizia stepped out in a new creation by Spanish heritage brand Pertegaz.
Her Majesty sported the designer's black feather & rhinestones blazer (€890), and cropped cigarette pants. The separates are from the Fall/Winter 2019/2020 collection. The classic pant suit is enhanced with luxurious ostrich feathers and strings of rhinestones on the arms of the single breasted blazer.
This suit is the second design Queen Letizia has added to her closet in a matter of weeks from the Pertegaz fashion house who created her wedding dress. You may recall she wore a silver Pertegaz pussy bow dress during the Princess of Asturias Awards last month.
Queen Letizia accessorised the pant suit with her black Magrit 'Mary' satin clutch and black Manolo Blahnik snakeskin pumps with custom rubber platform sole.
She topped off the look with the dazzling Joyas de Pasar diamond chanton earrings.
