Today, the King and Queen of Spain continued their introductory tour of Western Europe, visiting the Kingdom of Belgium. They were greeted on arrival at the Royal Palace of Laeken in Brussels by the King and Queen of the Belgians, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.
After the formal welcome by the Belgium royal family, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Belgium, Charles Michel.
This was followed by a luncheon hosted by King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.
Queen Letizia wore a bespoke outfit from Felipe Varela. She wore a white peplum wool jacket paired with a cornflower blue silk full-circle skirt.
Queen Letizia colour-coordinated her outfit with new Magrit platform suede pumps, navy leather gloves and a new clutch bag. Letizia owns these shoes in several colorways and has now added a cornflower blue pair to her collection.
The leather clutch is from Felipe Varela and currently available online for €575. It has a flap front adorned with Swarovski crystals.
Letizia wore her hair up in a braided chignon, an updo style she is favored this past month. She finished the outfit with her diamond and sapphire white gold hoop earrings which she premiered on a recent trip to Portugal.
