Queen Letizia joined her husband King Felipe VI on Tuesday to deliver the 36th edition of "la Caixa" scholarships to 120 Spanish students selected for postgraduate studies at the best universities around the world.
Her Majesty brought back the navy floral Hugo Boss BOSS 'Viplisa' pleated skirt first worn at a luncheon for the visiting President of Palestine last November. The skirt originally retailed for £270 but is currently discounted down to £81 at Flannels (while stocks last).
Letizia restyled the look with a new ice blue knit top. It is the Hugo Boss BOSS 'Frankie' cuff detail sweater (£139) crafted in a merino-quality mercerised virgin wool, and finished with metallic buttons at the cuffs.
Queen Letizia arrived at the venue in Madrid wearing a new navy trench coat. It is the Hugo Boss 'Cirala' coat - a style she debuted in beige only a few days ago when visiting KIng Juan Carlos in hospital.
She complemented the tonal blue set with her navy Magrit 'Mónica' patent leather pumps and CH Carolina Herrera 'Baret' flap clutch bag in navy leather.
Letizia released a new pair of earrings for the occasion from her go-to Spanish jeweller, Coolook. They from the brand's 'Rain' collection and combine gold-plated hoops (€56) with the 'Rain' pendant (€99). The large pendant features a Chalcedony teardrop stone in a gold-plated setting with two topaz gems on either side.
The interchangeable pieces can be bought separately, however Coolook also offers a readymade pair of earrings with a smaller chalcedony drop (€190).
Their Majesties have presided over the "la Caixa" scholarship presentations since 2015, taking on the role from Felipe's parents following his acendension to the throne in 2014. Letizia's outfit this year was a modest deviation from the sleek sheath dresses she wore in the past. Which do you prefer?

The Queen of Spain started the working week at an award ceremony. Her Majesty presented the second edition of the 'International Friendship Awards' with a ceremony held at the IESE Business School in Madrid.
The Awards aim to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of entrepreneurs to social progress, and to promote entrepreneurial spirit across the world.
Queen Letizia donned a familiar look, repeating the black knit top and Roberto Verino jacquard skirt she recently wore to the delivery of the Tomás Francisco Prieto Prize in February.

Following yesterday's hospital visit, King Felipe and Queen Letizia returned today to check in on King Juan Carlos as he recovers from knee surgery. They were again joined by Felipe's mother Queen Sofia, and today their daughters also accompanied them.
The young princesses emulated their mother's style from yesterday and sported matching Burberry trench coats. Today Queen Letizia looked chic in a striped top and bootcut jeans with a peacoat over the top.
The navy wool coat is by Italian label Fay.
The short coat features a double-breasted front with shirt-style collar and mock pockets at hips.
Underneath the coat Letizia wore a navy/white striped sweater from Adolfo Dominguez (€94). Knitted from a soft wool blend, this sweater features a crew neckline, ranglan long sleeves, and rib-knit accents along the hem and cuffs.
She coordinated the outfit with a new pair of stretch navy leather boots from Massimo Dutti (sold out) and her navy Carolina Herrera 'Osaka' bag from the designer's Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
The King and Queen of Spain were seen arriving at La Moraleja Hospital with Queen Sofia to visit King Juan Carlos following his knee surgery.
This was the first time the two royal ladies were seen together in public following THAT Easter video. Her Majesty sported a smart-casual look today wearing a classic beige trench coat and her black Hugo Boss HUGO 'Heylen' trousers (£189) which she recently debuted on a visit to the ancient city of Mérida.
The trench coat is a new piece from Hugo Boss. It is the 'Cirala' style (£370) featuring a traditional design with double-breasted front, storm-flap on the back and tab cuffs.

Letizia carried her Paco Rabanne Black Leather Disc And Ring Small Bag which we first saw last September when she dropped off her daughters at school for the commencement of the academic year. The handbag is currently marked down to $864.50 at Barneys Warehouse which is a massive reduction from its original retail price of $2,890!

Her Majesty looked ready for business as she arrived at the Headquarters of the Medical Association of Spain in Madrid wearing her tweed BOSS 'Keili' Jacket.

The King and Queen of Spain attended a commemorative Mass today marking the 25th anniversary of the death of King Felipe's grandfather, Juan of Spain, Count of Barcelona.
