During the session, the Queen was briefed on the ongoing challenges of combating discrimination, promoting gender parity, and protecting the rights of vulnerable women.

Queen Letizia wore a hot pink Hugo Boss pantsuit for the occasion, pairing her previously worn ‘Tiluna’ trousers with a new coordinating blazer in the ‘Jalucia’ style.

Beneath the blazer was a matching pink crew-neck top, which I assume is by Hugo Boss, given its perfectly coordinated hue with the suit.

The award is one of the richest literary prizes in the world and the most prestigious in Spain and Latin America. It honours the lifetime achievement of an eminent writer in the Spanish language. This year, Their Majesties presented the Miguel de Cervantes Prize to Mexican writer Gonzalo Celorio.

For the occasion, Queen Letizia repeated her delphinium-hued Carolina Herrera Sleeve-Tie Midi Dress, first worn during a visit to Belgium in June 2025.
