Following a day of separate engagements, King Felipe and Queen Letizia reunited to travel to Huelva for a funeral mass honoring the 45 people who lost their lives in the Adamuz train accident on January 18.

Held at the Carolina Marín Sports Palace, the service was officiated by the Bishop of Huelva, Santiago Gómez Sierra.

Special recognition was given to all the people and professionals who participated in the rescue, care, and relief efforts, acknowledging their dedication, generosity, and service in the face of the tragedy.
Queen Letizia wore a black coatdress previously seen at the funeral of King Constantine II of Greece in 2023. The design features a shawl collar with velvet trim at the waist and cuffs, and is reportedly the work of an independent dressmaker.
Her accessories included the Carolina Herrera Victoria Insignia Satchel Bag and Magrit Buckle Low-Heel Pumps.
