Shortly after their arrival in Cairo for a four-day State Visit to Egypt, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a reception at The St. Regis Cairo hotel for the Spanish community in the country, with around 300 citizens in attendance.
Queen Letizia stepped out in a new black off-the-shoulder crepe dress. Vanity Fair reports that the piece is by Mango, though this has yet to be confirmed, as the exact style does not currently appear in the brand’s inventory.
She carried a new Weekend Max Mara Small Spanish Heritage Pasticcino Clutch (US$1,135), a design that celebrates Spain’s craftsmanship through Cordovan leather and the traditional damascene technique of Toledo.
On her feet, the Queen wore her Magrit 'Carlota' Slingback Pumps in Black Patent.

This crepe dress looks beautiful on the Queen. If I was to add anything else it would be a beautiful single strand pearl necklace and earrings. Her clutch is simply gorgeous, what a beauty. Love her small kitten heels. Good she is looking after her feet health (as someone who has foot problems I can well understand comfort over look)

This is another style of the basic black dress. The off the shoulder neckline is feminine and not too revealing.

Letizia looks superb in the off-shoulder black column dress for the ex-pat reception. It embodies just the kind of classic simplicity which Letizia looks best in, the off-shoulder feature helps the evening-wear vibe.

The bag, I quite forgot to mention my admiration for that gorgeous Max Mara clutch. It quite makes the dress work with its subtle texture contrast in the heritage style Spanish leather gathered into the pretty sphere clasp. One to treasure I would think
