On Friday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the exhibition “In Memoriam Tomás y Valiente. 1996–2026” at the Faculty of Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), commemorating the 30th anniversary of the assassination of Francisco Tomás y Valiente by the terrorist organization ETA.
Francisco Tomás y Valiente was a distinguished jurist and professor at UAM, and each year the Faculty of Law honors his lasting academic and institutional legacy.
For the commemorative event, Queen Letizia wore her Teresa Helbig 'Opium' Contrast Yoke Jumpsuit paired with her black suede boots by Magrit, and a skinny black leather belt.
She arrived at the university wearing her black COS Belted Double-Breasted Wool Long Coat.
The Queen finished the look with her small diamond studs.

I like this outfit, its striking with interesting features. I do prefer the previous wear and how it was styled, more appealing to me.

I've never liked this Teresa Helbig jumpsuit as I find it an odd mix of elements, but I must admit that it works well for a commemorative event. Perhaps the penitent vibe of white collar and cuffs against the black helps convey a sombre note. While I think long boots are a good idea under the skirt, I'm not sure these ones are unable to lie smoothly enough and their rumpled effect adds too much weight below the hem.
