On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited Brussels to inaugurate the Europalia España festival.
Upon their arrival in the Belgian capital, Their Majesties were welcomed at the Royal Palace by King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, who hosted a private lunch in their honour.
Later in the day, the royals visited the Brussels Palace of Fine Arts (Bozar), where they toured the exhibition Light and Shadow: Goya and Spanish Realism and attended the festival’s official opening ceremony.
Europalia, a biennial arts festival that spotlights a different country or theme through a rich and multidisciplinary programme, is dedicating its 2025 edition to Spain—exactly forty years after the country was last featured in 1985. Running from 8 October 2025 to 1 February 2026, Europalia España will unite heritage and contemporary art, offering fresh perspectives on themes that both connect and challenge the audience.
For this cultural engagement abroad, Queen Letizia brought back her modified Giorgio Armani printed pleated dress, first worn in September 2023 for World Cancer Research Day in London.
She accessorised with new burgundy suede Magrit pieces, wearing the ‘Mar’ slingback kitten-heel pumps and carrying a matching 'Pissa' clutch.
As the event drew to a close, Queen Letizia wrapped up in her navy Carolina Herrera fur-collar cape.
She completed the look with the colourful Dime 'Frenchy' Long Earrings.

Its lovely to see a rewear of this beautiful pleated dress. The first time I saw the Queen wearing this ensemble, i thought it was a two piece outfit. I love the burgundy accessories, her shoes and clutch, clever choice. The colorful stones of her long earrings are very attractive.

Sorry but I think the cape is not black, if not Navy as the dress. She owns two capes

The modified Georgio Armani dress makes a welcome return by looking so pretty on Letizia. The multiple pleating of both blouse and skirt, where they are emphasised by being sewn down at the top, help break up the sober print background colour, and liven up the exquisite floral print, made more acceptable by being so well spaced and not crowded all over the dress.
