King Felipe & Queen Letizia Attend Royal Collections Gallery Meeting

On Thursday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended a meeting of the board of trustees of The Royal Collections Gallery at the Royal Palace of Madrid.

This is the third time this Board of Trustees has been convened, created as an advisory body of National Heritage on the occasion of the inauguration of the Gallery of Royal Collections, the institution's youngest museum, which opened its doors in the summer of 2023.

Queen Letizia arrived at The Royal Collections Gallery wearing her black Carolina Herrera Double-Faced Wool A-Line Coat.

Once inside, she removed her coat to reveal her Carolina Herrera Prince of Wales check blazer, styled with a red crewneck knit top and black trousers.

The trousers appear to be her Mango wide-leg suit trousers, though I can’t say with 100% certainty.

On her feet were the Massimo Dutti Heeled Loafers, and she carried her Carolina Herrera Victoria Insignia Satchel Bag.

Queen Letizia finished the look with small diamond stud earrings and her PDPAOLA Diamond Solitaire Supreme Necklace.

Finally some color! I think Queen Letizia must have read our earlier comments when we were begging her to wear a red sweater under her grey blazer! I love this check blazer, such a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down.

I like everything about this outfit. The red stripe in the check is nicely accentuated by the red top. However, the Prince of Wales check, as is stated, does not include a red line.

I love this beautiful jacket, its lovely to see a rewear. The style and cut suits her beautifully. I love the buttons on the cuffs of her sleeves. The wide leg trousers are splendid, not too baggy or big. The red crew neck top looks fabulous. The color works in well and a lovely splash of color. I love the subtle necklace. The diamond stud earrings were a good choice.

A nice set of mix-and-match for Letizia's indoor outfit with the red lines in the Prince of Wales check toning with the red layer top and the grey of the jacket offsetting the black trousers. Letizia looks ready for business with the Royal Collections trustees.

The Massimo Dutti loafers continue to be a great chunky choice with her pants, the legs are wide enough to cover the shoe, but not too wide on her figure. The Carolina Herrera satchel remains a reliable pick and the diamond studs are elegant. It is a pleasure to see the pretty PDPaula solitaire diamond necklace again.

The Caoline Herrera black wool A-line coat continues to give drama with its sweeping wide shawl collar, creating an entrance without overpowering.
