They met with residents from several municipalities, as well as representatives from the beekeeping, livestock, agricultural, tourism, and agrotourism sectors impacted by the Jarilla forest fire. In Cabezabellosa, Their Majesties also spoke with locals and with members of the teams involved in extinguishing the blaze and supporting those affected.
Queen Letizia debuted a new all-navy ensemble, pairing an unidentified denim shirt with matching twill trousers. She accessorized with her navy Hugo Boss ' Mayfair' belt and brown lace-up boots, a familiar pair from previous appearances. To complete the look, she wore her Barbara Goenaga climber earrings.

I'm sorry to hear about these wildfires. I hope the King and Queen can offer comfort and encouragement to those affected. Letizia looks great dressed up or down. The three casual outfits shown here look smart and well put together.

It was most heartening to hear that the Spanish royals felt able to interrupt their holidays to visit those suffering from these terrible wild fires. I admire Letizia for her simple practical outfits, I think she looks especially good in double denim and I think such neat walking boots look very good indeed, while being able to cope with the terrain.

I've been following the big Spanish three-week bike race, La Vuelta, which has mostly been in north Spain, and where foliage has looked green and healthy, like another country really. It wasn't till we got the Galicia at the end that we were suddenly faced with how vast and cruel these fires have been. The riders climbed a huge mountain, Alto de El Morredero, where the whole of one side was blackened and took the breath away. The views at the top were still amazing, but nothing could have survived in such a blaze and I was so thankful that Letizia and Felipe were able to go on a mercy mission.
