The Zenda Awards are prestigious Spanish literary awards that recognize the talent and effort of writers, booksellers, and publishers, established by the independent literary platform Zenda. Presented annually in Madrid, they honor distinguished authors with categories like Narrative and Lifetime Achievement, celebrating literary innovation and the promotion of reading.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia paired her grey Hugo Boss Semi-Sheer Pussy-Bow Blouse with her black Sybilla High-Waisted Wide-Leg Fluid Trousers.

There is a lot of fabric enveloping Letizia. The big wide bow and the big wide pantlegs are overwhelming her small frame. But I like the contrast between the light grey and the black which is striking.

Good point about the amount of fabric, but a smaller bow on this might have looked insignificant.

I've made it clear I'm no fan of wide leg trousers especially on petite Letizia, but I can accept this Sybilla pair as they succeed in being so wide that when she stands they look much like a full-length skirt. With the clever styling of the high waist on the pants against the very fluid Hugo Boss semi cheer blouse, even the big bow tie has been made acceptable for me, a clever way to combine businesslike for the awards with evening wear.

The outfit is ably supported by the old favourites of the generous size Cos wool coat, plus serviceable Carolina Herrera black satchel bag and matching Magrit Clara pumps. My only query might be why gold jewellery with silver blouse, but nonetheless the stand-out Pertegaz elongated earrings look as wonderful as ever; modern, stylish, and appropriate for royal duty,
