On Friday, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia hosted a luncheon at the Royal Palace of Madrid in honor of the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who is on an official visit to Spain.
Their Majesties and the President warmly greeted the guests before the luncheon.
Queen Letizia re-wore her elegant green coatdress, first debuted at the Service of Thanksgiving for Prince Philip in March 2022 and later seen during the State Visit to Croatia in November 2022. The refined design features a softly structured shawl collar, with velvet accents defining the waist and cuffs. The piece is reportedly the work of an independent dressmaker.
On her feet were the Magrit Buckle Low-Heel Pump in Black Leather.

The independent dress maker did a good job on this dress. However, if the lapels on the dress were velvet, to match the cuffs and waistband, it would really have taken things to the next level.

Its splendid to see this beautiful green coatdress again. This coatdress has some interesting features. The shawl collar is very appealing to me and attractive. I do love the waist and cuffs, the darker velvet accents which defines the coatdress and elevates the overall look. The green color I love.

Letizia exudes pure elegance in this wonderful coat, its fit and hang are superb. The monochrome is very fitting for the regal status it needs to advertise and the velvet accents on belt and cuffs are tastefully worked to give gentle relief. The shawl collar is pretty and feminine so it is not severe.
