On Saturday, King Felipe, Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor presided over the central event commemorating Armed Forces Day 2026 in Vigo.
Following the Honours rendered by a Battalion of the Royal Guard, His Majesty the King reviewed the troops in attendance. Afterwards, the Spanish royals greeted the civil and military authorities from the official platform, marking a solemn and dignified tribute to Spain’s Armed Forces.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia re-wore her blue Juan Vidal Soft Romantic Print Shirt Dress, notably customised with a shawl collar in place of the necktie detail featured on the ready-to-wear design.
Complementing the dress were familiar white leather accessories in the form of her Furla Metropolis Shoulder Bag and Hugo Boss 'Melanie 50' Block Heel Sandals.
She finished the look with her Gold & Roses 'Luzia' Stars Earrings.

I'm not sure what it is that I don't like this time, but the wear of this dress doesn't appeal to me, maybe the white accessories. The first wear of this dress was fine.

I like this dress and am happy that Letizia eliminated the floppy bow at the neckline. Although I am not a big fan of white shoes, these ones and the purse look just fine.

I was a bit taken aback by this dreary dress until it dawned on me how very lovely Princess Leonore looks in her uniform with her hair up. If ever there was a dress in which to fade into the background to allow s younger daughter to step into the spolight then this Juan Vidal shirtdress is undoubtedly it.
