On Thursday, Queen Letizia presented the 23rd edition of the El Mundo International Journalism Awards at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid.
The awards, which champion the defence of freedom of expression and ethical commitment as their guiding principles, honoured two journalists this year who, from different parts of the globe, embody the profession’s core values of courage and rigour.
For the awards ceremony, Queen Letizia brought back her black Sandro chalk-striped pantsuit, first worn in March 2025 at a World Rare Disease Day event.
She arrived at the venue wearing her black COS Belted Double-Breasted Wool Long Coat.
On her feet were the Massimo Dutti Heeled Loafers.
Her look was completed with the Pdpaola Large 'Sugar' Earrings.

It was only a month ago that Letizia was in a dark pinstripe pant suit from Mirto so this gave me a double-take at first. This one from Hugo Boss has much more flattering tailoring, the legs while wide seem less so than the Mirto, at least in these pics.
