Queen Letizia Brings Fresh Flair to a Day of Audiences

On Thursday, Queen Letizia held multiple audiences at Zarzuela Palace.

She began by meeting with representatives of the "Weaving Networks. Wool. A Disappearing Heritage" project, which seeks to leverage the Madrid Design Festival to raise awareness about the challenges facing Spain’s wool industry.

Next, she engaged with members of the Brain Advisory Council, who introduced the Spanish Brain Plan, focused on safeguarding brain health through research, prevention, care, and monitoring to combat related diseases.

Finally, Queen Letizia met with representatives from the ANAR Foundation to learn more about their efforts to protect and promote the rights of vulnerable children and adolescents.

This is a lovely outfit. I love the embroidered blouse. The embroidered addition is just enough. Very feminine and elegant. The Pinstripe trousers look good.

This outfit is an interesting blend of a feminine top with a masculine pant. I think it works. The white top has some intricate detailing that goes well with the subtle pinstripe of the charcoal pants. I do like the pleats since this style of pant has not been in vogue lately. Maybe this is a new trend.

I can't quiet believe the Queen has yet another new pair of Hugo Boss trousers, but have decided to put it down to adjusting her wardrobe to wearing chunky flat brogues, this time from Massimo Dutti. It's a very impressive pair of pants with pleats at the waistband giving a full shape, leading naturally to the wide legs which themselves cover those shoes.

And I like the pretty white Massimo Dutti blouse which has relied on embroidery, lace, and pintucks for decoration rather than bows and fussy frills. The combination makes for a good working outfit, the cinching belt holding it all together to preserve Letizia's trim waist despite the volume of fabric in pants and blouse. Pearl drop earrings are just right with this, dressy but discreet.
