On Thursday, Queen Letizia presided over the 47th edition of the SM Awards for Children's and Young Adult Literature "Gran Angular Award" and "El Barco de Vapor Award", held at the Real Casa de Correos in Madrid.

These prestigious awards, established in 1978 by the SM Foundation, aim to promote high-quality literature that fosters a love for reading among young audiences while conveying human, social, cultural, or religious values. Each award includes a prize of €35,000, making them among the most significant in the Spanish-speaking literary world for their categories.

I love, love this jacket! This looks great combined with the black trousers. Her shoes and clutch look good. I love her earrings, there interesting. She has some really unusual but beautiful earrings, they are unique just like this pair are.

Letizia really rocks this classy black and near-white white combination. It's the latest example of her sticking to that particular palette, but with such originality and style that it seems fresh again.

The boxy Maje Reims Tweed Cropped Jacket in Ecru sits beautifully on Letizia, its short sleeves are youthful, and the little bodice pocket flaps hint at a chic Chanel vibe. The new Sybilla High Waisted pants are amazing, a risk for Letizia being so wide in the leg on her shorter frame, but offset by such a high, fitted waistline and the fluid, feminine fabric.

Black accessories are best with this, with both the Massimo Dutti slingback and CH satchel bag delivering trusty service again. I love the neat Barbara Geonaga climber earrings, their sparkle an echo of the fancy jacket buttons.
