I like this outfit. The gingham coat adds some fun, to an otherwise serious black look. I like that the pants are tapered and not long and wide. The purse embellishment echos the checks on the coat. Letizia's shoes are practical but not clunky and her earrings are well chosen.

Its great to see a rewear of this chic, stylish trench coat. She looks modern and elegant. Love, love! the studded bag, edgy! Her shoes look great with this outfit.

This is such a great look for Letizia, I feel we see less of this super-chic look that she can deliver so well. I loved the short Mirto Checked Trench Coat, which has quite the '60s vibe, the first time we saw it, find it nicely paired now with the crew neck black layering top and black slimline crop pants.

I love how she's picked out the fun Uterque Studded Messenger Bag to underline the coat print in reverse, with square pale studs on the dark background.Those faithful Gold & Roses Double dagger earrings never go wrong and their lines also reflect the coat print.

But where I really admire Letizia is in her choice of Sezane Paula Babies Pumps, where she has taken flat footwear into a stylistic orbit of its own. The low heel is perfect with crop pants, and this one so distinctive with its splayed shape, and the sweet double straps come in a quiet echo of the coat check. It's great to see how well it all comes together to hint at some vintage chic that fits in with a love of book reading.
