Launched in 2011, Atlàntida Film Fest was Spain's pioneering online platform dedicated to showcasing the finest international films overlooked by traditional cinemas.

For the glamorous evening, she chose a striking red Carolina Herrera dress.

Crafted from Rioja-red jersey, this asymmetric dress drapes from a single shoulder with delicate side ruching that defines the silhouette. A gleaming gold zipper reveals a flash of leg.

She debuted a gold-plated brass evening clutch by Turkish luxury jewellery and accessories brand Begüm Khan.

On her feet were a new pair of beige Gucci Signora Slide Sandals.

The only familiar piece in the ensemble was Queen Letizia's Isabel Guarch 'Palma' earrings.

This dress has a WOW factor and is quite bold. I think it is necessary to have a trim figure to wear this dress...and Letizia certainly does. The only disappointment is the choice of shoe. I do like the shoes she wore, but why not complete the look with a gold shoe, to coordinate with the purse and earrings?

Letizia has really set the town alight with this amazing dress, I was surprised that such a sizzler could emanate from the stately Carolina Herrera, but maybe it's just Letizia's own usual picks that tend towards the conservative.

It seems such a simple concept with the off-shoulder sheath in red, but there is a lot going on, it's just that it's so beautifully put together. It's brilliant to use the top-to-toe ruching which keeps the garment in full body-contour mode, and the zip is daring and genius as it raises tempting images of quick removal in a hurry. To conclude all these features in daring thigh slit is masterly.

I find the accessories equally inspired. I love that the dress zip sett the tone by making its presence known in gold. The Begum Khan gold clutch is neat and perfect, and the Gucci slide sandals are just amazing. they tone in so well with the gold, and are sexy with the bare heel and chunky little heels, while adding extra gleam with the toe buckle embellishment.

I can see the relevance of Palma earrings in this context but am not sure they are the right pick. There is enough linear texture in the folds of the dress fabric and the earring leaves echo this a bit too much, something like the PdPaula Sugar earrings might have been better with their simple plain oval. Overall another stunning look from the Queen for this Mallorca film festival where she regularly produces sartorial surprises.

Only Letizia can get away with wearing this very daring dress. She looks fabulous in the figure hugging design. I like the claret red colour and the very unique styling, draping and ruching. The only thing I don't like is the obtrusive zipper which is a bit unsightly IMHO. But I guess you need an opening to get the dress on so it was required. Once again her earrings are too tiny to make any kind of impression. I think a bigger, bolder pair would pair better with this dress.

This dress looks smashing, beautiful red color. I don't mind the zipper showing, its different.
I find the earrings non descript. I would have loved to see some larger more of substance earrings, such as rubies!
