On Wednesday, King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia gathered to attend several events in Madrid commemorating the 10th anniversary of King Felipe’s proclamation.

The day began with the solemn Changing of the Royal Guard, which the royal family watched from the balcony of the Royal Palace.
Afterward, they presided over the ceremony awarding the Order of Civil Merit to various citizens, recognizing individuals for their exceptional personal commitment to the community and their efforts in building a better society.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia then hosted an official lunch at the Royal Palace, where Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia surprised their father with a heartfelt speech.
