The Spanish royal family arrived in Oviedo on Thursday to participate in the annual Princess of Asturias Awards ceremony.

How exciting to see Queen Letizia expanding her fashion repertoire with Roland Mouret! The outfit's cut was impeccable on her, perfectly suited for the occasion. King Felipe looked dashing as always, and the girls were dressed with their usual elegance and appropriateness.

I like the original design of this dress. The bodice is unusual and interesting and improves the overall look of the outfit. I also like the navy colour and the way the skirt falls into a tulip shape which is very flattering for Letizia's slim physique.

This dress is gorgeous, fits well, love the color. The gold accessories work in well. The earrings are beautiful, glorious pieces.

Letizia's new Roland Mouret displays some of that label's classic features lie the asymmetric neckline and ruched bodice and looks excellent on her, I admire her for picking gold accessories in the Magrit clutch and kitten heels. I love those Bulgari aquamarine earrings but they are in a silver setting which is slightly jarring with all the gold.

Leonor has been less fortunate in her delivery of the pretty Philosophy skirt. This is unflattering on her with the full gathered waistline which adds inches to her middle. Perhaps it might have fared better with the Hugo Boss top worn over the top of the waistband. The fabric is lovely and feminine and the print gorgeous. Kudos to her for the repeat of the Letizia top. Sofia meanwhile has picked a winner in her plain black Zara sheath, with its fascinating ruching.

Gorgeous dress. Perfect proportions for QL. Dewy skin, shiny hair. Really lovely. My only quibble; why not yellow gold in the earrings? I mix metals too but I wouldn't have done so here. Nevertheless, everyone looks elegant and lovely this evening.

This navy dress is very elegant and stylish. I do wish Letizia had worn her hair back so as not to obscure the very interesting neckline.
