On Tuesday, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and Princess Leonor presided over the ceremony for the presentation of the Royal Certificates of Employment at the Naval Military School in Marín, Pontevedra.

Coinciding with the festivities of Carmen Day, the patron saint of the Navy, the naval school hosted the swearing-in ceremony for first-year students and the presentation of commissions to new officers from the four corps of the Navy.

You can't go wrong with a simple navy dress. The sleeveless style makes it summery but I would have like to have seen it with a single strand large pearl necklace to go with the earrings. That would have made the outfit more stylish and added some contrast.

The new Herrera knit dress is wonderful on Letizia with its flattering A-line. The dark navy looks tremendous against all the white military uniforms. I love the slightly raised necklines, tiny cap sleeves and waist detail, all very feminine. The ecru accessories are just right for summer and the Tous drop earrings are standout.

I love this Navy dress, the skirt has movement and swish! excellent. The small heel sandals look lovely. The earrings are pretty, but I agree with Sandy, a pearl necklace would have looked fabulous and the perfect finishing touch, it would have added a touch of elegance.
