Queen Letizia Debuts Red Sybilla Dress for the Gold Medals of Merit in Fine Arts Ceremony

On Wednesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia were in Toledo to present the 2024 Gold Medals of Merit in Fine Arts.

The Gold Medals recognizes the people and entities that have excelled in the field of artistic and cultural creation or have provided notable services in the promotion, development or dissemination of art and culture or in the conservation of artistic heritage.

For the occasion, Queen Letizia stepped out in a new red midi dress by Sybilla, featuring short sleeves and a surplice bodice with a long self-tie at the waist.

Letizia adds another dynamic red dress to her wardrobe. The wrap style is something new for her and it's looks great with the tie belt around the waist. The design comes alive when you see her walking and in motion in the last pic. Camel shoes provide some contrast against the red. I wish she would choose some bigger, bolder earrings. You can barely see the tiny needles she is wearing,

This is yet another beautiful dress, gorgeous shade of red. I love the design, its very attractive. The skirt has nice swish and movement. I really like the belt, adding definition. The beige pumps were a good choice. The earrings look pretty.

Stunning dress! I love the simplicity of the silhouette, elevated by the dramatic long self-tie belt that moves beautifully as she walks. I’m with Sandy; I think a bolder choice of earrings would have really enhanced the look, as it feels a little under-accessorised.

Another very serviceable work dress for Letizia, which, while a good colour, disappoints me a little by being another wrap-around of which we've seen so much. The Sybilla bodice is very pretty in the way that it opens out to show off the underdress. The Magrit slingbacks are ever practical, nude looks well with red, and the Gold & Roses Needle Earrings are as fine as ever, with their original modern design and touch of toning red.
