Queen Letizia in a Relaxed Business Look for Audiences at the Palace

On Tuesday, Queen Letizia hosted audiences at Zarzuela Palace, beginning with a representation of the members of the recently created Carlos I Chair of Public Policy, and a group of experts from the Legislative Observatory of Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs.

Next, Her Majesty received in audience a delegation from the Association of Rare Diseases “Más Visibles” and from the documentary film “Life in a Drop”.

Afterwards, Queen Letizia received representatives of the Porque Viven Foundation, a non-profit organization that, for more than fifteen years, has supported children and adolescents with serious and incurable diseases, as well as their families, in the field of pediatric palliative care.

Queen Letizia wore her Adolfo Dominguez Crew Neck Cotton Blouse in Blue Stripes with a pair of unidentified black pleated-front trousers first worn in October 2019.

She added a new black belt which appears to be the Hugo Boss 'Carol' golden-buckle belt in Italian leather (US$95).

I really like this blue cotton blouse, its fresh and appealing. The pleating of the yoke I love, adding definition of the blouse overall. I like the color of this blouse. Her pants, look really very good. Black and this shade of blouse looks perfect. The pleating of the pants are well done, the pants look a good length, I don't mind the slight baggy look.

I like the stripe shirt print of the Adolfo Dominguez blouse very much, and admire the fresh modern styling of the plain crew neck, the deep diagonal pleats that have been used to shape the chest, and the gentle games played with the different directions of stripes.

With the sleeves rolled up the whole results in a very full shape, but Letizia seems to have successfully tamed it into the waist of her contrast black trousers, which look well with the pale blue of the shirt.
Cinching the whole with the Hugo Boss black belt was a sound idea.

I'm glad she knows to match the gold belt buckle with her gold hoop earrings, I think it spoils the look when these details are in mixed metals. The funky black Sezane Paula Babies with their double straps make a sweet addition to the ensemble.
