Queen Letizia in Antik Batik for "Women, Sport, and Society" Colloquium

On Wednesday, Queen Letizia attended the "Women, Sport and Society" colloquium in Torrelodones, part of the CHALLENGE 40 BASKET Solidarity Tournament supporting the fight against female genital mutilation.

The tournament, organized by multiple groups including the Madrid and Spanish Basketball Federations, raises funds for the NGO’s "Safe in Nairobi" project, offering shelter and support to women and children affected by gender-based violence in Kenya. The event also featured family activities and showcased amateur and legendary Spanish basketball players.

I like this Navy embroidered dress, The skirt has nice movement in the skirt of the dress. The embroidered pieces add interest to this dress. Like her white wedges in leather and her white bag. Nice addition.

I like the exquisite shoulder details on this dress. But the tiers and gathering are a bit too much.

Letizia looks very well indeed in her monochrome Antik Batik layered dress. I'm not a big fan of layered ruffles like these but this works well here, and I'm interested to see how well Letizia's outfit sets off the the more colourful presentations from fellow attendees at the Women, Sport and Society colloquium.

The white Herrera bag is ideal against the white dress trimmings and the white leather espadrilles have a neat finish which helps them work for official royal business. Love those Nydia twisted gold hoops, great with so many outfits.
