On Wednesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a luncheon at the Royal Palace in honour of the President of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, who is on an official visit to Spain.
Their Majesties and the President warmly greeted the guests before the luncheon.
Queen Letizia re-wore her elegant Felipe Varela skirt suit, first debuted at the 2017 National Day celebrations. The blue-grey outfit features a belted woollen jacket and a matching box-pleated skirt detailed with a hand-embroidered floral motif on the front and back.
On her feet were the Magrit 'Clara' Pumps in Navy Leather.
Queen Letizia finished the look with her TOUS diamond earrings and the PDPAOLA Diamond Solitaire Supreme Necklace.

It's impressive to see Letizia dust down this old suit again and she certainly gets full marks for recycling. I know it's by Varela and beautifully tailored and could not be more appropriate for royal work wear, offsetting its restrained grey blue colour with the feminine embroidery.

This is such an elegant suit, and I applaud the Queen for keeping it in her regular rotation. It’s beautifully tailored and fits her like a glove.
