Their first stop was the Centre del Carmen for Contemporary Culture, where they toured the exhibition The Transformation of Valencia 1866–2026, organised by the newspaper Las Provincias to mark its 160th anniversary.
Their Majesties then visited the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia to learn about the project Salvem les Fotos UPV / Recuperar las memorias (Save the UPV Photos / Recover the Memories), an initiative dedicated to rescuing and preserving family photographs and cherished mementos damaged by the 2024 DANA storm.
For the day’s engagements in Valencia, Queen Letizia debuted a sleek aubergine-hued pantsuit from Hugo Boss, comprising the BOSS ‘Juicylara2’ wool-blend blazer paired with the coordinating BOSS ‘Tireka1’ trousers.

I love burgundy hues and this is a lovely pantsuit, but I'm not sure why Queen Letizia felt the need to add another one to her wardrobe when she already has a few in the same colour and fit. I'm afraid the monotony of Queen Letizia's outfit choices will continue into 2026.

I love the aubergine colour and perfect fit of this pantsuit but the black turtleneck does nothing to highlight it.

Looking back at Letizia's outfits, December 3 was the last time she wore a bright colour. I know this is winter and I don't expect to see her in pastels, but honestly it looks like she is in deep mourning. Her outfits have become so dull. The burgundy pant suit is very nice, but it would have been elevated with a pink, white, patterned, or striped top under the jacket.

Now this is a pantsuit I can say I love!! The color is pretty. The jacket and pants fit beautifully. Love the length of the pants, the jacket also good length, perfect fit. Love the design of this pantsuit. Nothing boxy or too big and baggy. Her black CH satchel bag is a welcome addition. The stellar hoops are lovely.

Hugo Boss has produced a terrific pant suit for Letizia, the colour suits her admirably and the tailoring is beautiful. In a welcome shift from the many boxy, oversize looks the Queen has adopted of late, this jacket is properly waisted and looks all the better for it. The single breasted blazer is elegant with its long sleek lapels, and the three pocket flaps fit neatly into the garment's shape.

The suit trousers have sensible width legs and not the wide versions which can so easily overwhelm a petite figure. Black accessories look well overall, including the layering Falconeri cashmere turtleneck as well as the coordinating black Carolina Herrera satchel bag and Massimo Dutti chunky loafers. The Singularu Steller hoops add just the right finishing sparkly enlivening touch against all the monochrome colour.
