Queen Letizia Looks Radiant in Red at World Food Day Event in Rome

On Thursday, Queen Letizia attended the international ceremony marking World Food Day 2025 in Rome, held in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. The Queen serves as FAO’s Special Ambassador for Nutrition.

Queen Letizia took to the stage to deliver the keynote address.

Queen Letizia then visited the Food and Agriculture Museum and Network (FAO MuNe), a newly opened 1,300-square-metre exhibition space that blends art, knowledge, tradition, and innovation to showcase and promote FAO’s mission and work.

She concluded the day with a luncheon hosted by the FAO Director-General, followed by a meeting with Spanish FAO staff, where she expressed her appreciation for their dedication and contribution to global food security.

For her trip to Rome, Queen Letizia brought back her red Carolina Herrera pantsuit, featuring a longline blazer and matching slim-fit trousers.

She added softness to the structured suit with a new chiffon blouse featuring a voluminous pussy-bow. The brand / designer of the piece remains unknown.

For a pop of interest, Queen Letizia carried her floral-print Furla 1927 Top Handle Mini Bag, pairing it with her camel Magrit 'Clara' Pumps.

She topped off the look with her Gold & Roses 'Skyline' Crawler Earrings.

Letizia is wearing a beautifully tailored suit and she always looks good in red. I would prefer the blouse without the fussy, pussy bow. I'm not certain if this purse works with the outfit. To me it says, fun and summer and a solid colour bag would match the mood of the suit better.

I love the top handle mini bag, just gorgeous. I like the camel colored shoes paired with this bag. The red pantsuit, I love, perfect fit, love the pants nice snug fit. The pussy bow blouse is pretty and feminine, I love it! She looks elegant and stylish.

Letizia continues to look amazing in this impressive Herrera suit which works so well with a single-breasted blazer and narrow leg trousers which look natural with low-heel pumps.

I'm no fan of these bow blouses, too fussy for my own taste, but I applaud Letizia's use of one here. It makes a great feature for being noticed when addressing a crowd. I simply love the irreverent touch of the Floral Print Furla bag, at its colourful best against block colour. The Gold and Roses Crawler Earrings continue to faithfully deliver sparkle in a discreet fashion,though I wonder the Queen didn't go for a more gold tone in jewellery with the red.
