On Wednesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the José María de Llanos Foundation in Madrid to mark the 25th anniversary of the Southern Hospitality School.
This vocational training project equips students with essential skills in culinary arts, table service, and bartending.
Looking effortlessly elegant for the spring engagement, Queen Letizia chose her bow-neck blouse in sky blue by Massimo Dutti, styled simply with white trousers.
She completed the look with her Barbara Goenaga ‘Little Iconic’ diamond earrings, which made their debut just the day before.

Letizia seems to be favoring pants and pantsuits lately. I love the beautiful soft blue of the blouse but I prefer the way it is shown on the model tied loosely. The bow tie is a bit too fussy and matronly.

White trousers look to be Letizia's go-to for the moment and these translate as fresh and springlike for the vocational skills engagement. Teamed with the plain blue tie neck Massimo Dutti blouse the effect is uncomplicated, but still elegant.

This is a quietly styled and elegant outfit. The blouse is a lovely soft color and very becoming, I love the bow tied as in the Queens wear. The pants are fresh and well fitted and good length, she looked lovely on this visit. These white shoes look terrific.
