On Wednesday, Queen Letizia presided over the BBVA Microfinance Foundation’s event “Data that Improves Lives” an initiative designed to inspire, inform, and showcase how data can transform lives and build a better world.
For the occasion at Madrid’s Marques de Salamanca Palace, Queen Letizia opted for a sophisticated grey flecked wool-blend pantsuit from Massimo Dutti consisting of a belted blazer (€129) and coordinating trousers (€99.95).
In keeping with the business look, she arrived carrying her document-sized Hugo Boss 'Fanila' Clutch.
On her feet were the Massimo Dutti Heeled Loafers.
Rounding off the tailored outfit were the Gold & Roses “Shewel” triple hoop earrings.

This pantsuit, I like very much. She looks professional and stylish. I particularly like the jacket, good length and nice style. I like the idea of the belt, looks different. The pants are the perfect length. Her Loafer shoes, look really good with these pants. Love the black document sized clutch, this is very handy size.

The pantsuit looks well tailored and fits well. But the black top inside doesn't add anything to the dull grey. I would like to see it with a top in a bright colour or bold print. I do like the addition of the thin belt which gives the blazer more definition.

I like the basic grey-flecked Massimo Dutti pantsuit but I don't know who'e idea it might have been to add that strange belt. It seems too slender and out-of-place, perhaps pulling the jacket too tight and out of shape. I would prefer a tailored jacket that needed no belt. I wonder if this references a safari jacket by having the patch pockets on the front, if so this is not the right fabric for that look
