King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, together with Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, presided over the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards ceremony held at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.

The awards recognize exceptional achievements made by the youth of Spain in areas such as scientific research, artistic creativity, social solidarity and entrepreneurship.

Queen Letizia opted for an elegant all-black ensemble, pairing a dazzling Carolina Herrera embroidered tulle top with her Sybilla High-Waisted Wide-Leg Fluid Trousers.

I love the black embroidered CH top, it looks wonderful especially with these black pants. The black leather pumps are a good fit with the pants. The diamond cluster drop earrings are perfect, not overdone, enough with the embellished black top.
Princess Leonor looks lovely in this ensemble. I love her up style hair.
Infanta Sofia looks beautiful in this color. Her pants and top look good, love the cuff on her arm.

I can't wait for the wide pant era to be over. However, in this case Leizia's pants look almost like a skirt. The top is lovely and no doubt can be worn with many things.

The CH top looks elegant with the wide leg pants. The beading is exquisite and the crop length looks great. I love the gorgeous colour of Sofia's outfit and the design is very contemporary with the unusual panel of fabric cascading over one side. Leonor added some contrast with her lovely white pansuit. The fabric has a sheen to it that makes it perfect for evening wear.

The superb embroidered tulle Carolina Herrera top has been perfectly showcased in this elegant ensemble from Letizia. The Sybilla High Waisted Wide Leg trousers are the perfect feminine complement for a sophisticated ensemble.

The Massimo Dutti slingbacks are neatly hidden under the wide trouser hems playing a very discreet role. The Diamond Cluster drop earrings on the other hand play a leading part in adding complementary bling as a finishing touch.

Am loving Leonor's collarless Bleis blazer with matching sleek trousers and also Sofia's intriguing Momoni Raspberry top.
