The King and Queen of Spain hosted the Balearic Islands reception on Monday evening at Marivent Palace in Palma, Mallorca.

Their Majesties were joined by their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, along with King Felipe's mother, Queen Sofia.

The Spanish Royal Family hosted the Balearic Islands reception this evening at Marivent Palace in Palma, Mallorca on 4 August 2025

The reception is held annually during the royal family’s summer stay in Mallorca. Their Majesties welcome hundreds of guests from the Balearic community, including politicians, academics, welfare organizations, and sports figures.

The dress looks cool and comfortable but too much like a petticoat.

Letizia looks very fetching in her classic white embroderie anglaise sun dress with its pretty inset lacy panels and tiered skirt. The V neck bodice with straps is very attractive. The Isabel Guarch earrings are perfect, and the gold espadrille wedges nicely sleek for an evening outing.

However. by wearing white, and even twinning with her husband, the Queen has ensured that eyes must be turned to her more colourful daughters and mother-in-law. Eleanor looks darling in the blue Desiguel x Stella Jean Ruffle Midi Dress. Her Suma Cruz earings are just gorgeous while being understated against all the busyness of the print frock.

I admire Sofia for skipping the ruffles and going for a straight column silhouette, The pink Zara Tie Dye on satin is gorgeous and summery and works fine with her classic neutral espadrilles. Queen Sofia also plays a strong colour game with her green and pink floral long top over wide leg green pants, with silver accessories.

I love this feminine, elegant white dress, the skirt has lovely flair and moves well as she walked. The earrings are gorgeous.
I read somewhere that the dress Princess Leonor is wearing, is Queen Letizia's. She looks wonderful as does Sofia, love her pink dress, suits her well.

Letizia as as every year wears the "Adlib" Mode in the Balearic Islands, the tipycal White dresses handmade in the Islands, Leonor's dress and espadriles has been worn by Letizia and Sofía's dress is 15 € costa.
