On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia carried out engagements in Madrid and Jaén.
They began the day by hosting an audience at Zarzuela Palace for the Spanish delegation set to participate in the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games.
Afterward, Their Majesties travelled to Jaén to mark the 1,200th anniversary of its designation as the capital of the province of Jaén.
They visited the Jaén City Council’s Board of Tourism, Culture and Heritage, where they toured a commemorative exhibition. They also stopped at the Arab Baths Cultural Center of Jaén, one of the city’s most emblematic monumental complexes and a landmark of Andalusian historical heritage.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia repeated the pink tweed dress she first wore in October 2024 during the Princess of Asturias Awards. The piece was most likely custom-made by the Queen’s personal dressmaker.
In Jaén, she was seen carrying her black Carolina Herrera Victoria Insignia Bag.
On her feet were the Magrit Buckle Low-Heel Pump in Black Leather.
Queen Letizia finished the look with her Dime 'Frenchy' Multicolor Long Earrings.

On my screen this dress looks red, although it is described as red. The dress is interesting in its tweed fabric and the two rows of detail above and below the waist. I do note that detail is fine on Letizia, but it would draw unwanted attention for a heavier person. The earrings, shoes and purse all add to a cohesive look. Queen Letizia and Catherine, Princess of Wales, could both use a trim to their hair. These days Letizia's hair is looking untidy.

The Fushia color of this dress is a beautiful shade, it suits the Queen well. I like the frayed outlines on the outfit and cuffs, adding interest. I do love the colored stones of these earrings, splash of color.

I love how Letizia takes a fashion trend like raw edges and turns it into refined embellishment, here it has been used to liven up a classic plain A-line dress, which admittedly enjoys the relatively enlivening texture of tweed, and in a striking non-traditional tweed colour.
