Queen Letizia reunites with Princess Leonor in Panama

Over the weekend, Queen Letizia traveled to Panama to visit her eldest daughter, Princess Leonor, the Princess of Asturias, during a stopover of the Spanish Navy's training ship, Juan Sebastián de Elcano.

Princess Leonor, the heir to the Spanish throne, is currently undergoing naval training as part of her military education, serving as a midshipman aboard the iconic schooner. The Juan Sebastián de Elcano, named after the famed Spanish explorer, is on its annual instructional voyage, which includes port calls in various countries.

For the occasion, Queen Letizia opted for a chic yet relaxed ensemble, layering a denim shirt over a crisp white t-shirt. She paired this with white, medium-rise flared jeans from Mango (US$69.99).

That evening, Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor attended a formal reception held aboard the ship. Joined by fellow naval trainees, their families, and distinguished guests, the event fostered camaraderie and celebrated the crew’s journey during the ship’s global training voyage.

Queen Letizia debuted a red Mango belt wrap jumpsuit (US$139.99) which she teamed with her gold Picon 'Dalia' wedges and red Menbur clutch.

What a special moment for the King and Queen to welcome their daughter home. Letizia looks very youthful in her white top and jeans. Letizia's red jumpsuit, worn later, is also youthful looking. I don't care for the gold wedge shoes and a simple red flat might have been better.

It is not at home, Letizia was visiting Leonor in Panamá (Central América), where the ship had arrived, there was a reception on board because the mother's day in Spain

Thanks for the clarification. I usually read the entire blog, but when I posted, it was a very busy day and I only scanned the pictures. Now I clearly see the very first sentence mentions that the Queen travelled to Panama.

Such a joyful reunion between mother and daughter, it was a pleasure to see them when they first met. I love the Adolfo Dominguez Bucket Bag, didn't see that in any of the pics I saw. The denim shirt was another fun touch.

I much admired Letizia's youthful choice of bold red Mango jumpsuit teamed with gold Picon wedges, she very much graced the onboard reception
