On Wednesday, Queen Letizia attended the 15th edition of the Luis Carandell Journalism Awards at the Senate Palace in Madrid. The awards recognize parliamentary journalism, both audiovisual and written.
The awards are presented annually by the Spanish Senate to recognise excellence in parliamentary journalism across both written and audiovisual media. They honour the legacy of Luis Carandell, a renowned Spanish journalist and one of the 20th century’s most distinguished parliamentary chroniclers.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia re-wore her red Adolfo Dominguez A-line dress, first debuted during World Mental Health Day engagements in October 2025.
She styled it much the same as for its debut, carrying her red Menbur 'Malva' clutch and pairing it with custom red leather square-toe slingback pumps by Magrit.
The Queen finished the look with her Gold & Roses 'I AM RED' Needle Earrings.

Good to see the return of such a classic dress from Adolfo Dominguez. With distinct flutter sleeves, deep front skirt pleat, and strong colour it carries a classic A-line shape with its own twists on style.

This is a nicely designed ,stylish dress. Looks very elegant The red color of her dress is gorgeous, I love this shade and suits her beautifully. The centre pleat, flared skirt adding nice swish! The fluttered sleeves give this dress a interesting look, I love it. Her leather pumps are gorgeous, love the red color of her shoes and clutch.
