On Friday, Queen Letizia officially opened the 84th Madrid Book Fair, held in the picturesque El Retiro Park. This year’s event embraced New York City as its central theme, showcased through the vibrant initiative “New York Illuminates the Fair,” organized in partnership with the New York International Book Fair to celebrate literary and cultural connections.

Throughout the event, the Queen toured the fair, engaging with numerous exhibitors and conversing with representatives and authors from various institutions and publishing houses. Additionally, she interacted with representatives from the New York International Book Fair and took part in activities at the Children’s Pavilion.
