On Friday, Queen Letizia officially inaugurated the 85th Madrid Book Fair, held in the picturesque surroundings of El Retiro Park.
This year’s edition embraced “humour” as its central theme, celebrating it as both a creative force and a powerful tool for critical thinking. The Queen toured the fair, engaging with numerous exhibitors and conversing with representatives and authors from various institutions and publishing houses.
For the outdoor event, Queen Letizia wore her Adolfo Dominguez Chalk Effect Pleated Dress, a piece first debuted in the summer of 2020.
On her feet were a new pair of SarahWorld ‘Mayte’ espadrilles, featuring a suede closed-toe upper and chic ankle-wrap ties.
She finished the look with her star-shaped Isabel Guarch 'Vents' Earrings.

This is such a pretty dress from Adolfo Dominguez and it's good to see it back out again, it looks ideal for summer at a book fair. The SarahWorld espadrilles look comfy with it and tone nicely with the paler patches of the dress print.

Its good to see a rewear of this lovely summer dress. Obviously warm conditions, perfect for that type of weather. These earrings are really sweet and pretty, lovely with this dress.
