On Thursday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the 106th ABC International Journalism Awards at the newspaper's headquarters in Madrid.

The awards recognise the professional career and the best journalistic works published by media outlets in the categories of regular journalism, photojournalism and drawing.

Queen Letizia dazzled in her black taffeta midi dress by The 2nd Skin Co. — a striking statement piece she previously debuted at the 2021 Princess of Asturias Awards and rewore for the 2023 Teatro Real Season Opener.

Letizia added her black Hugo Boss 'Amie' skinny leather belt to help define the waist, and she kept the look monochromatic with her Massimo Dutti Kitten Heel Slingback Pumps, and Aquazzura 'Very Bow Tie' Crystal Clutch.

Completing the look were the joyas de pasar diamond chanton earrings, and a diamond bracelet also from the collection of jewels designated by Queen Ena in her Will for the select use of Spanish queens.

I like everything about this outfit, however, I would eliminate the bows. They serve no purpose other than to add clutter to an otherwise lovely dress. The jewellery is stunning!

Its lovely to see Letizia rewear this interesting dress, it has some unusual features, which I like. She wears this dress well, suits her perfectly. The Joyas de pasar diamond chanton earrings are beautiful earrings, emanating such sparkle, they are a wonderful size. The diamond bracelet, equally gorgeous, I love both pieces. Its great to see her wearing them.
The black crystal bag is gorgeous.
The lady in the red gown looks stunning, I like this gown, its different and so elegant.

I totally love this dress and am so glad Letizia is still finding occasion to wear it. It manages to combine mature sophistication with girly style in one effortless move.

The fitted bodice and full skirt are a classic combination, but best worn by the truly slender like the Spanish Queen. The outre bows are a delight, being almost over the top, but resisting the urge to burst out of the classic context.

It just adds to the overall success for Letizia to being out the bling in the shape of the fabulous diamond chanton earrings from the joyas de pasar with seriously shiny royal wide diamond bracelet. I'm impressed how well the Massimo Dutti kitten heel slingbacks hold up against all the drama and love the Aquazzura Very Bow Tie clutch with its crystal embellishment tying in with all the big rocks.
