Queen Letizia stuns in a vibrant Maksu summer dress at Balearic Islands reception

The King and Queen of Spain hosted the Balearic Islands reception this evening at Marivent Palace in Palma, Mallorca.

Their Majesties were joined by King Felipe's mother, Queen Sofia.

The reception is held annually during the royal family summer stay in Mallorca. They welcome hundreds of guests from the Balearic community, including politicians, academics, welfare groups, and sports personalities.

I like the autumnal colours, eye catching print and relaxed fit of this dress. It looks cool and comfortable. I'm not certain but it looks like it's a wraparound making it easy to get in and out of.

Unfortunately this dress is in a shade of orange I particularly dislike, but I find the print improves on acquaintance as your illustration enables me to see it more clearly.

The Maksu Jane seems to be a reworking of the now classic wrapover style and the dark flecks amid abstract lozenge shapes in the print help impart a slightly Ikat and artisanal vibe, in keeping with a dress for a hot summer evening.

The bold gold hoops are perfect match for an evening touch and the fashionable flatwoven Sezanne sandals maintain the summery vibe. Letizia is the perfect hostess for the annual Balearic reception.

This simple dress looks lovely, I am not a fan of the colors but regardless its perfect for summer weather. Love the addition of her gold hoops, they are a good decent size.
