Queen Letizia attended a meeting with Spanish employees of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), where she has served as an ambassador since 2015. The gathering took place at the residence of the Spanish ambassador.
After completing their solo engagements, the royal couple traveled from Rome to Naples for the final events of the State Visit.

I think Letizia overdosed on the tweed this time around. It's a fabric that is doesn't work well all on it's own and needs contrasting colour to bring it to life. It also has a strong masculine vibe. The wide black belt doesn't help matters. Since the pieces are so expensive I hope we will see them again paired with more colourful separates.

It is an Italian designer, Alberta Ferretti, Italian mode, because of that she is wearing It.
In Spain, France, Italy contrasting colours are considered tacky.

Sandy, I agree with everything you say! This is a professional look, but it is dull and severe. A pop of colour at the neckline and the self belt rather that the thick black belt would really help.

Creo que eso va a ser imposible, ya que son prendas prestadas por la marca y después de este viaje, regresarán a la firma.

I love this tweed outfit, it looks stylish and chic. I love the tweed material. Love the addition of the black belt, and her black accessories. The tweed coat is divine!

It's an amazing three piece. With the shrugged coat stepping off the plan, Letizia looks almost red carpet!

I love this beautifully tailored Ferretti three-piece suit, it's such a classic and should be available for plenty of re-wears. I love the tweed fabric and all its texture, and the details of the jacket patch pockets, sitting safari-style just at the hem.

I think a pencil skirt always looks well on Letizia, which may be an odd thing to say after the very full The 2nd Skin Co skirt last time. The Queen, however, is adaptable. The low-heel Magrit slingbacks seem to hold their own despite the below-knee length, and I admire the sophisticated restraint of using a black belt, albeit the extra-wide Hugo Boss Dana, as quiet contrast for a serious meeting about food and agriculture.

Cinching the waist in this way adds a youthful touch to a sober outfit.Adding the new Gucci shoulder bag was a delightful and elegant nod to the country the Queen was visiting.
