Queen Letizia Wears Vibrant Pink for Day of Audiences at Zarzuela Palace

On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted audiences at Zarzuela Palace, starting with the 37th meeting of the Delegated Commission of the Princess of Girona Foundation.

Following the foundation meeting, Their Majesties met with the Board of Trustees and the Scientific Council of the Lilly Foundation. The audience was held to commemorate the foundation's 25th anniversary and honor its ongoing contributions to science and medicine.

For the occasion, Queen Letizia brought back her pink Hugo Boss 'Dellisi' Maxi Dress.

On her feet were a new pair of hot pink Calzados Picón espadrille wedges with tonal lace-ups. They also come with removable ankle strap.

She completed the look with her Gold & Roses Double Dagger Earrings.

Milly, I agree the earrings are very boring and so small you can hardly see them. I think some of her larger hoop earrings would have been a better choice with this dress.

I find this pink tiered skirt dress lank and unattractive. i don't like tiered skirts of dresses such as this. The earring choice, not much of an impact.

I think this is a very good colour on Letizia and I also continue to be a fan of the Gold & Roses Double Dagger Earrings which are neat as well as modern and innovative in their style.

But apart from that I am not a fan of long tiered skirts like this as I remember them from too many years ago when I got quite tired of them. And I am also never going to be a fan of espadrilles. But Letizia as always remains appropriate in her dress and in fulfilling her royal obligations. She has my undying admiration and respect.

Well said, Bertie. It can't have been easy for her, imagine, you're 32, an independent woman, a succesful journalist, the Crown Prince falls in love with you and you with him. And you were not born in a royal family, so you have to learn everything!
