Spanish Royal Family attend events ahead of Princess of Girona Awards 2024

The Spanish Royal Family kicked off their visit to Girona for the Princess of Girona Awards on Tuesday with a busy schedule.In the morning, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia embarked on a separate engagement, while King Felipe and Queen Letizia likely attended meetings. The evening saw the whole family reunite for a reception with past Princess of Girona Award winners.

I don't like the construction of this dress. The design looks messy and haphhazard. The removal of one of the sleeves was a bit of an improvement.

Letizia looks her chic best in this sand-coloured Mango draped dress with its off-beat neckline and draping. She so often looks good in a form-fitting style. The use of white accessories is a great touch giving a quietly upbeat note to a neutral outfit, and the Herrera bucket bag is pretty if a little clunky against the trim elegance.

I was surprised to see the Queen take to a low pair of block heels from Hugo Boss, and am glad if she can be comfortable in these now. The asymmetric Gold & Roses earrings are the perfect contrast in style and texture to the smooth monochrome of the dress. It was fun that both her daughters opted for all-white trouser outfits with espadrilles, almost stepping into the background from their mother.
