On Tuesday, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofía hosted a reception in Barcelona for trustees and newly announced winners of the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards ahead of the awards ceremony.

For the occasion, Queen Letizia re-wore her vibrant blue Woman Limited pantsuit, a design that has been on regular rotation since its debut in May 2024.

Oh dear, three baggy pant suits all at once. I haven't had much complimentary to say about oversize in general and pantsuits in particular and doubt I can improve on my theme now.

I think there was a bit of a fuss made when the three women turned up in colours that almost duplicated the French flag right before Spain was about to fight France for a place in the FIFA World Cup. My own concerns continue to relate to Letizia attempting to wear the oversize jacket and pants from the Woman Limited pantsuit which I don't think help her petite frame. I like the pretty Mango Gardenia Braided bag she carries as its colour might be quiet, but the texture contrast with the plain suit is welcome.

Princess Leonor fares batter in a similar style from the same brand as her mother by virtue of having more height so both jacket an pants hang better and seem more in proportion. She seems able to carry the very bold orange colour well and I like her fun matching Thinking MU Jennie barrel bag and cute nude flat sandals.

I think Sofia looks well in the ecru of her Sezane Beryne outfit and has the legs to carry off wide pants. Unfortunately I don't think the tie belt is flattering on her, adding too much bulk at the front and seemingly knotted a little high on her waist. Her jacket has the misfortune of being double-breasted where her sister and mother both benefit from the leaner look of single-breasted blazers.

I can't wait for the oversized, baggy trend to fade away. I don't think it's flattering on any body type, and it does little to complement or enhance the feminine silhouette.

The footage that you posted on the post shows that when she is walking, one can see that Letizia's heel is exposed

And the bag is new from Massimo Dutti, it is the same she wore the next day.
