The King and Queen of Spain mark International Romani Day

On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia commemorated International Romani Day with a special event held at Spain’s Congress of Deputies in Madrid. The ceremony also marked 600 years since the Romani people's arrival in the Iberian Peninsula—a milestone year for one of Spain’s most vibrant communities.

Their Majesties were welcomed by top government officials and Romani representatives. The event featured powerful speeches, cultural performances—including a moving rendition of the Romani anthem Gelem, Gelem—and symbolic gestures, such as the presentation of the Romani flag and a reproduction of a 15th-century safe-conduct document marking the community's historical entry into Spain.

The unusual Massimo Dutti print of apparently nude-tone on black is sophisticated and helps lift an otherwise conventional style for a practical working dress.I'll never be a fan of tie-bow necklines but this one manages without going over the top. It all looks great with the camel Magrit accessories and the trusty Gold & Roses Luzia earrings. Perhaps the tie-bow, long sleeves, and starry earrings complement the Romani theme of the day.

Its lovely to see a rewear of this delightful dress. I am a fan of the tie-bow. I like the design and pattern of the dress. It fits well. The colors work in well. the color of her accessories are perfect.

I like this dress, although wish the neckline didn't have the floppy bow. Although I appreciate midi dresses, I do think this one needed to be a bit shorter, on Letizia. The camel shoes and purse coordinate very nicely with the dress and the earrings add a pretty touch. The earrings are quite unique in that they are different from each other.
