The King and Queen of Spain visit Burela

On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the municipality of Burela (Lugo), a quintessential Galician fishing town with deep maritime roots.

Its economy has been centered on fishing since the 16th century, beginning with whaling. Today, Burela’s port and fishing fleet are among the most prominent in Galicia. The town also serves as a popular tourist destination, known for its rich seafaring heritage, sandy beaches, and vibrant port activity.

This is such a pretty top from Robert Verino, mercifully the puff sleeves are not too pronounced and the slender monochrome stripes keep everything reasonably low-key for a fishing town trip. I like how the Gold and Roses Double Dagger Earings helpfully echo the stripes.

The top is just right with the neat cropped trousers which look well with the low-heel Sezane Paula Babies pumps and their distinctive double cross straps. The rest of the black accessories, Vachetta Shoulder Bag from Adolfo Dominguez and Hugo Boss Mayfair belt, all look very much the part. An accomplished and modern outfit from the Queen.

This is a lovely ensemble. I love this unusual distinctive blouse, it’s paid well with the lovely nicely cropped pants. The black accessories working well, love the earrings
