The King and Queen of Spain travelled to the Canary Islands today for a two-day visit of Spain's archipelago located off the west coast of Africa on the North Atlantic Ocean.
Their Majesties visit to the Canaries marks their first as reigning monarchs. During their whirlwind tour of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, they will carry out an intense program of activities and meetings with entrepreneurs, researchers, business leaders, charity organisations and university students, as well as greeting locals.
Queen Letizia arrived on the island of Gran Canaria wearing her Carolina Herrera jasmine printed sheath dress.
It has become one of her favourites and this is the fourth occasion Letizia has worn it since its New York debut in September 2016.
She accessorised with her Lodi 'Debra' bordeaux patent heels and a new red flap clutch bag.
ID UPDATE (12 JUL 2017)
Letizia carried the bag again on Day 1 if the State Visit to the UK which showed a flamingo logo on the front. It was identified as the Menbur 'Malva' clutch (€174.95).
Letizia finished the outfit with her Chanel 'Plume' earrings.
For the evening engagements, Letizia changed up her look and opted for a pretty blouse and wide leg trousers.
We first got a glimpse of the dusty pink blouse when she wore it with her Felipe Varela pant suit at the 2nd Congress of Rare Childhood Diseases in April 2015.
The Victorian-style blouse with frilly trim and pintuck detail is by Adolfo Dominguez.
The back of the top features a buttoned placket.
She paired the blouse with her HUGO Hugo Boss 'Hotaru' Stretch Crepe Wide Leg Trousers.
Letizia complemented the outfit with her white Uterque croc-embossed clutch and a new pair of mauve block heels with pointed toe.
The brand/designer is currently unknown but they are most likely by Uterque. One of my readers points out that they look similar to the Gem D'Orsay style from the Spanish brand.
She rounded-off her outfit with her TOUS ruby, emerald and moonstone earrings.
