Today, Queen Letizia accompanied her husband King Felipe to the official opening of the 35th ARCO International Contemporary Art Fair at the Ifema exhibition site in Madrid. The event attracts collectors, curators, museum directors, gallery owners, artists and professionals from all around the world, which makes the show a unique and unmissable event on the international art calendar.
The Queen of Spain turned heads in a fashion-forward ensemble befitting an art fair.
She sported a contemporary look consisting of black culotte pants made of nappa leather with an exposed front zipper. The limited edition trousers are from Uterque's Spring/Summer collection and retail for €275.
Queen Letizia arrived to the exhibition wearing a new bright pink oversized jacket from Carolina Herrera's Spring 2015 collection. The jacket has a collarless neckline with an open front and patch pockets.
Under the coat, Letizia wore her crisp white Hugo Boss 'Bashina' shirt.
She coordinated the outfit with a new pink leather clutch bag from Adolfo Dominguez. It is a past season piece and no longer available.
On her feet, Queen Letizia premiered a bespoke pair of Magrit lace-up pumps.
They are based on the brand's 'Elsa' style and Her Majesty had them modified with a closed pointy toe. The shoes are made from a contrast of reptile leather and suede, and finished with a leather lace.
She completed the outfit with her TOUS Ruby and Emerald earrings and matching pink lipstick.
Here's a closer look at her braided up-do.
It has been somewhat of a tradition for Letizia to debut a new outfit for this annual art exhibition. Here's a look back at her previous ARCO ensembles.

Today, Queen Letizia visited the Nino Jesus University Children's Hospital in Madrid to mark the 50th anniversary of it's foundation. The school's mission is to ensure educational support and academic monitoring of school-age patients admitted to the hospital for prolonged treatments.
Her Majesty began the visit with a boardroom meeting where she was given an overview of the school's operations.
Following the meeting, Queen Letizia began a tour of the facilities, and popped into a classroom to visit ill children undertaking their school work.
Queen Letizia concluded her visit with an informal reception with hospital directors, teachers, medical staff, alumni, and patients and their families.
Her Majesty opted for a simple yet cheerful outfit, wearing her brightly patterned Zara embroidered jacket.
This is the third occasion Letizia has donned the vibrant jacket since its debut in November 2015 for the Spanish brand awards.
Letizia kept the styling the same, pairing the jacket with her Hugo Boss 'Taru' black trousers and BOSS Hugo Boss 'Fayna' cashmere sweater.
On her feet were the Magrit 'Mila' black leather pumps and she arrived to the hospital wearing her Hugo Boss red wrap coat.
She finished the look with a classic pair of princess-cut diamond stud earrings which I don't believe we've seen before.

Today, Queen Letizia held an audience at Zarzuela Palace with the Governing Board of the College of Dentistry and Stomatology of the First Region, and later representatives of the Human Age Institute Foundation.
Letizia wore her BOSS Hugo Boss 'Cosyna' Cashmere Double Face Cocoon Coat. It's surprising to see Her Majesty don a wool coat within the comforts of the Palace. It makes me wonder if the thermostat was not working today?!
Under the coat, the Queen wore a new sweater by Nina Ricci. The pale grey merino wool top features lace panel insets and is from the designer's Pre-Fall 2014 collection. Thanks to the eagle eye of Cecile from the blog Royals & Fashion for the identification of the top!
Letizia coordinated the pieces with grey straight-leg trousers.
On her feet were the Magrit 'Mila' black leather pumps, a style she owns in several colors.
Her Majesty completed the look with light pink pearl drop earrings.

It was lovely to see the King and Queen of Spain together again for today's meeting of the Prado Museum Board of Trustees. It's been over a month since we last saw Their Majesties together at the Pascua Militar ceremony on January 6th.
Before business got under way, the royal couple were greeted by a group of school children outside the museum.
During their visit they viewed 'The Virgin of Granada' by Fra Angelico which was recently acquired by the Prado museum from the House of Alba.
Queen Letizia arrived wearing her Hugo Boss red wool wrap coat, a piece that has been in her closet for a few years. She last wore it in January 2015 to a workshop with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).
Under the coat Queen Letizia wore an elegant Felipe Valera ivory skirt suit which many of you will recognize from the official portrait taken in 2010.
Today, Letizia coordinated the outfit with her Carolina Herrera 'Maysa' clutch and Lodi 'Debra' bordeaux patent heels.
Completing the look were the dazzling ruby dangle earrings.

Queen Letizia was in familiar territory today, visiting the Royal Palace of Madrid. She was there to view the renovations made to the historic building to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia opted to repeat a crimson red Felipe Varela skirt suit, first debuted in December 2008 and worn frequently since then.
Today she paired the two-piece separates with a tonal burgundy knit top.
Queen Letizia coordinated the monochromatic ensemble with her Lodi 'Debra' bordeaux patent heels.
She kept her jewelry simple, choosing to wear her diamond square halo earrings.

Today, Queen Letizia chaired the fifth annual Forum Against Cancer meeting in Madrid, organized as part of the events to mark World Cancer Day, on February 4th.
In her role as honorary president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), Her Majesty delivered a speech to open the session.
She also attended a few lectures related to volunteering for the care of cancer patients.
Today, Queen Letizia opted to wear a familiar combination of her Hugo Boss BOSS Fashion Show 'FS_Jesila' blazer and BOSS 'Vapina' Scribble-Print Skirt.
We first saw her wear this combination during a State visit to Germany in 2014, and then again exactly one year later for the Justice & Disability Forum awards.
Coincidentally, she also wore the blazer to last year's Forum Against Cancer event.
There was a new addition to her outfit today. Under her jacket, she debuted an off-white blouse featuring a round neckline with draping pleats on the front.
I believe the top is the HUGO Hugo Boss 'Cylani' blouse but it may also be the BOSS Hugo Boss 'Ituna' blouse. From the limited photos it is difficult to say for certain which style it may be.
Queen Letizia accessorized with her Cucareliquia 'Archy' handbag and TOUS cultured freshwater pearl drop earrings.
On her feet were a new pair of black textured pumps, which are a custom version of the Magrit 'Mila' snake leather style.
