On Monday, Queen Letizia attended a ceremony in Madrid to present Social Action grants from the Mutua Madrileña Foundation to 34 NGO projects.
The aid is awarded to non-profit entities focusing on several crucial areas: disability, the labor integration of young people at risk of exclusion, combating gender violence, assisting children with health problems and/or facing exclusion, supporting the elderly and homeless, and promoting development cooperation.

On Tuesday, Queen Letizia attended an event in Seville hosted by the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER) to commemorate World Rare Diseases Day, the city where FEDER was founded 25 years ago.
As the honorary president of FEDER, Her Majesty delivered a speech that focused on this year's theme, 'In rare diseases, is prevention better than cure?'. She also presented the FEDER 25th Anniversary Awards.
