The King and Queen of Spain stepped out this evening for the 60th anniversary of the Europa Press Agency.
Queen Letizia stole the spotlight as she arrived at the luxurious Hotel Villa Magna in Madrid for the celebratory dinner.
She looked glamorous in a new dove grey cocktail dress by Nina Ricci. The piece is from the French designer's Ready-to-Wear Fall/Winter 2017-2018 collection. It features a crew neck with buttons on the left shoulder, and a high-low hemline. The simple slim silhouette is adorned with sparkly star cluster appliqués.
Letizia extended the cosmic theme to her accessories, wearing her Chanel Comète Earrings.
She carried her Felipe Varela metallic clutch and the sparkle continued to her feet with the silver Magrit 'Hera' silver sandals.
She topped off the cosmic-themed look with a sci-fi inspired pony-tail.

The Queen of Spain visited the headquarters of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation in Madrid today on the occasion of the charity's 10th anniversary.
The nonprofit entity was founded in May 2007 with the mission to promote sustainable and inclusive economic and social development of disadvantaged people through responsible finance.
Queen Letizia stepped out for the event in a new red and white ensemble fit for business but fused with romantic touches.
The combination reminds us of the Felipe Varela outfit she wore in February 2013.
Today's outfit consists of a red Hugo Boss pencil skirt - the BOSS 'Vasela' slim-fit pencil skirt in structured crepe (£169). This contemporary design features brushed-hardware press buttons at the waistband.
She softened the vibrant skirt with a white blouse by Carolina Herrera.
The embroidered sleeve silk blouse is from the designer's Spring/Summer 2017 collection. It is fashioned with a high collar and dramatic billow sleeves with embroidered lace accents. The style is currently only available at flagship stores, but there is a similar cotton version available at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Letizia offset the look with edgy reptile embossed accessories. We saw the return of the red Carolina Herrera 'Maysa' snake clutch bag.
On her feet she debuted a pair of crocodile-effect pumps from Hugo Boss. They are the BOSS 'Staple R100-C' model (US$395) - a style she also owns in black.
The exact shoe is no longer available but you can browse the 'Staple' range online where you'll find this silhouette rendered in patent leather, or you may prefer the shorter heeled 'Staple R70-C' pump.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia marked Armed Forces Day with events in the city of Guadalajara, about an hour from the capital Madrid. The annual occasion honours men and woman who serve/served in the Spanish armed forces.
Their Majesties presided over a military parade in the city's centre with over 2,500 military personnel.
There were no sartorial surprises from Queen Letizia today.
She played it safe in her Carolina Herrera Parrot Tulip Fil Coupe Sheath Dress - a piece we have seen her wear on two previous occasions in 2015:
She complemented the busy black and white floral print with familiar black accessories also by Carolina Herrera.
Letizia finished the look with her elegant white gold bezel set diamond and Australian pearl earrings.
Here's a look back at Letizia attending Armed Forces Day events in previous years.
The King and Queen of Spain visited Buen Retiro Park today for the launch the 76th Madrid Book Fair.
The annual event aims to promote books, reading and organizations involved in the publishing, distribution or retail of books.
Their Majesties were joined by the President of Portugal at the fair which this year highlights Portuguese influence on literature.
The trio took a tour of the stalls and chatted with booksellers and publishers.
They also dropped into the Children's Pavilion for storybook time.
Despite the hot weather, Letizia managed to look cool in a crepe set featuring a pair of relaxed-fitting cream trousers and matching vest.
The top is fashioned with interlacing tank straps and a peplum waist.
ID UPDATE (29 May 2017): The set is by Sita Murt. This is the first occasion we have seen the Spanish queen step out in a design from the Catalan fashion house. Below we show a stock photo of the top.
Queen Letizia added a pop of colour with burgundy accessories. She carried her Felipe Varela suede clutch and on her feet she wore a matching pair of ankle strap pumps by LODI. We believe these are the shoes she first wore with her Felipe Varela gown at this year's Diplomatic Corps reception.
Letizia topped off the outfit with her interchangeable earrings from Spanish jeweler Coolook. She wore the smoky quartz 'Big Candy' stud earrings with the 'Hera' pendants.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia welcomed Princess Muna al-Hussein of Jordan at their home in the Palace of Zarzuela today.
Her Royal Highness is the mother of King Abdullah II of Jordan and is on a private visit to Spain.
Queen Letizia looked pretty in pink, wearing a similar look from last year's Madrid Book Fair.
Today she opted to team her HUGO 'Rizalia' flared skirt with the BOSS 'Furana' knit vest in Pale Rose.
Other familiar pieces included her pink Magrit reptile pumps and Uterque quilted handbag.
Letizia finished the feminine style with her dainty flower blossom stud earrings by Yanes.
Queen Letizia attended the Spanish finals of the FameLab International competition this evening at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Madrid.
FameLab, founded in the United Kingdom, is an annual communications competition designed to give scientists and engineers a platform to share their enthusiasm for their subject with the public. The contestants are required to break down their science, technology and engineering concepts into fun and entertaining three minute presentations. The winner from each participating country gets to battle it out at the FameLab International Grand Final in June at the Cheltenham Science Festival.
Her Majesty looked effortless in a trendy black and white ensemble befitting the demographic of the event.
She teamed a white Massimo Dutti textured weave gilet (£139) with black leather leggings. The longline vest is a new addition to Letizia's closet. It features a straight cut, notch lapels, front double-breasted fastening and two side pockets.
I originally thought the trousers were her Hugo Boss leather pants which she first wore in 2013, but I then realised they were new because they don't have the ponte back panel and knee seams.
I believe they are the Uterque black nappa leggings (£325) as suggested by a commenter below. You may recall that Letizia also owns this style in white and navy.
On her feet, Letizia wore her trusty Prada Saffiano patent leather pointy toe pumps. She offset the outfit with her light beige Hugo Boss 'Prika-E' envelope clutch bag - a staple style of the BOSS collection which is still available for £299.
Letizia released a new pair of hook earrings which are designed with an open circle linked to a drop bead. At the moment the brand/jeweller is unknown.
Letizia consistently opts for a modern or edgy look for this event. In 2014 she went tribal in Hugo Boss ethnic pants. In 2015 Letizia showed off her gorgeous pins in a Uterque suede mini dress, and last year she choose contemporary separates from Nina Ricci.
Queen Letizia joined her husband, King Felipe VI today to deliver the 35th edition of "la Caixa" scholarships to 120 Spanish students selected for postgraduate studies at the best universities around the world.
Before the commencement of the event, Their Majesties and attendants observed a minute of silence in honour of the victims of the Manchester terrorist attack.
Queen Letizia looked resplendent in a new fiery red dress by her go-to brand, Hugo Boss.
The piece is the BOSS 'Daladi' Sleeveless Sheath Dress in Hibiscus Red (US$545). The contoured vertical seaming sculpts the beautifully fitted silhouette of this vivid sleeveless sheath. It is topped with a flattering notched-bateau neckline. It has sold out but the design is currently available in black from Sears where it is reduced to $218.99.
Letizia opted for tonal supplements and accessorized with her red python Carolina Herrera 'Maysa' clutch bag and red suede Magrit 'Alicia' D'Orsay pumps.
She finished the look with a new pair of leaf shape earrings.
The gold-plated 'Leaves Earrings' (€90.00) are from Spanish jeweller, El Mito De Gea. This is the first occasion Letizia has worn a design by the Valencia based boutique who specialize in handmade accessories.
The Spanish monarchs, including King Juan-Carlos and Queen Sofia were at a celebratory event in Madrid today to mark the 40th anniversary of the Reina Sofia Alzheimer Foundation.
The royal quartet headed inside the foundation centre for presentations, and King Felipe took to the stage to praise his mother's efforts in establishing the charitable foundation 40 years ago.
Queen Sofia was also acknowledged for her continued patronage.
Today also marked Felipe and Letizia's 13th wedding anniversary. For this special occasion, Her Majesty donned the colour of love and premiered a deep red Carolina Herrera peplum jacket (US$2,990).
The leather jacket is defined by a peplum hem and features a round collarless neckline, horizontal seams, and leather covered buttons down the front and cuffs.
Letizia contrasted the jacket with her natural white Hugo Boss pencil skirt.
She also kept her accessories neutral and coordinated the Magrit 'Gabriela' bag (US$337) with matching D'Orsay pumps (a bespoke version of the brand's 'Alicia' style).
Finishing off the look were the SCHIELD 'Cyborg Flowers' earrings which Letizia debuted in July last year for the Spain-India Council Foundation awards.
Best wishes to the King and Queen of Spain on their special day!
Today was a significant social occasion for the Spanish royal family. The King and Queen of Spain attended their youngest daughter Infanta Sofia's First Holy Communion. They were also joined by their eldest daughter Leonor, Princess of Asturias.
The communion was a family affair with Queen Sofia and King Juan-Carlos joining Letizia's parents and grandmother, and Sofia's godfather, Konstantin-Assen of Bulgaria.
The ceremony was held in a simple parish in Aravaca, a quiet neighborhood of Madrid. Spanish royals traditionally take their First Communion alone at the Palace of Zarzuela, but that protocol changed in 2015 when Princess Leonor received the sacrament with her classmates. Today, Infanta Sofia also joined her peers from the Santa Maria de los Rosales school for the Communion service. There was no chiffon dress, tiara or flowers for the young princess. Instead she was dressed in her school inform.
Queen Letizia looked elegant in a mint green creation by Felipe Varela, the only designer she trusts for such momentous occasions. The look was on par with the Varela design she wore for Leonor's First Communion in 2015.
However, unlike her unorthodox choice of transparent vinyl accessories for Leonor's communion, Letizia opted for conventional supplements today. She teamed the embriodered lace coat with her pewter Felipe Varela clutch and on her feet she debuted the Magrit 'Barbara' pumps (US$345).
We saw the return of her diamond cluster drop earrings which Letizia premiered in October 2014 for the opening night of the Prince of Asturias Awards. Their provenance remains unknown.
Following the service, the royal family shook hands with well-wishers who had gathered out the front of the Parish before heading home for a private celebratory lunch.
The Queen of Spain attended audiences today at the Palace of Zarzuela.
She first welcomed a representation of participants in the Annual General Assembly of the "European Disability Forum".
She then meet with members of the Foundation for Help Against Drug Addiction (FAD) of which HEr Majesty is the honorary president.
Queen Letizia surprised us with a new look and debuted a beige Hugo Boss suede leather ensemble.
The sophisticated separates consist of the BOSS 'Stiola' waistcoat (£400) and BOSS 'Setenta' pencil skirt (£370).
She teamed the set with a white chiffon blouse featuring a round neck and billow sleeves. The origin of the piece is unknown.
On her feet she wore her snakeskin Magrit 'Mila' pumps and topped off the outfit with her TOUS moonstone teardrop earrings.
