The King and Queen of Spain, accompanied by their daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofía presided over the launching ceremony of the Submarine S-81 'Isaac Peral', at the Navantia shipyard in Cartagena, Murcia.
The Submarine S-81 'Isaac Peral', is the first of four submarines of the S-80 series destined for the Spanish Navy, placing Spain in a relevant role within the countries capable of building and designing submarines. The ship resulting from this project is considered one of the most advanced conventional submarines (non-nuclear) in the world. It is, therefore, a clear commitment to national technological development, which will enhance the strategic independence of the country's defence and the international projection of the Spanish industrial fabric.
After the initial greetings, the Spanish Royal Family saw a plaque commemorating their visit, spoke with workers who participated in the construction of Submarine S-81 'Isaac Peral' and toured the shipyard's engineering plant and the Virtual Design Centre (CDV).
At the launching ceremony of the Submarine S-81 'Isaac Peral' King Felipe VI and Leonor, Princess of Asturias, cut the ribbon which released a sacrificial bottle, as established by maritime tradition. After the National Anthem, the family were photographed with the crew of the submarine.

Today, Queen Letizia premiered a pleated skirt by Adolfo Domínguez.
The cream midi length skirt features soleil pleats with a fine black contrast.
Letizia teamed it with a black sleeveless top with a mock neck.
I initially thought it was her Hugo Boss 'Fasmine' knit shell top but this new style doesn't have the same side ribbing detail or extended sleeve as the 'Fasmine' model. Furthermore, the top appears to have a double ribbed trim around the arm opening.
The finely ribbed mock neck does appear to match the knit top Letizia wore in September of 2018.
Separating the top and the skirt was her black Burberry ruffle leather waist belt.
Letizia complemented the monochrome ensemble with her black Nina Ricci 'Arc' leather clutch and Manolo Blahnik BB snakeskin-embossed pumps with a custom rubber platform sole (repeat).
She finished the outfit with her dazzling diamond teardrop earrings.
